The Natural Phenomena of Pamukkale: Pamukkale, "Cotton Castle" in Turkish, is celebrated for its fantastic landscape of white terraces, formed by the mineral-rich thermal waters that have gushed down the mountainside over the millennia. These terraces, created by calcium deposits, create a mesmerizing spectacle that resemble a series of snowy white, shell-like pools and cascades, which glisten when illuminated by the sun.

Hierapolis Ancient City: Perched on the Pamukkale travertines is the ancient city of Hierapolis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Founded in the 2nd century BCE, Hierapolis flourished as a Greco-Roman city and later became a prominent Roman spa town due to its thermal springs. Visitors on a day trip can explore the remarkably preserved ruins of Hierapolis, including its well-preserved theatre, agora, necropolis, and Roman baths.

The Cleopatra Pool: Within the archaeological site of Hierapolis lies Cleopatra’s Pool, also known as the Antique Pool. According to legend, Cleopatra herself swam in these thermal waters, which are said to have rejuvenating properties due to their high mineral content. Here, you can take a refreshing dip in the thermal pool while admiring the ancient ruins that surround it, but please note that the entrance fee is not included in this tour.
